Welcome to the Charlotte Chapter! We are one of the oldest chapters in the AAMA.
The original chapters of Gastonia, Concord and Charlotte met in 1963 to form the state organization and later that year in Miami, FLA we were chartered!
Our chapter is also the home chapter of Joan Michaels, CMA(AAMA)- A. She is the past National President of 1977 and is a vital part of our National , State and local chapter. The meeting is a great place to meet other CMA's, gain education and even find job opportunities.
Come & join us!!
The chapter charity is Pat's Place. It's a safe place for children, 18 & under, to be taken immediately for care, following sexual abuse allegations. Here, the children are cared for by medical, psychological and law enforcement professionals. We collect donations of snacks, toys, books, and $$ donations at each meeting. Feel free to bring all items with you to the meeting!
