The Charlotte Chapter was established in 1963 and is one of the oldest chapters in the AAMA. We are proud to be part of such a great legacy to the dedication of Certified Medical Assistants in Mecklenburg County. In May 2023, the Charlotte Chapter was rebranded to an improved name of the Charlotte Area Chapter to remind you that it is not just Charlotte CMA(AAMA)s but includes the surrounding towns of Cornelius, Davidson, Mint Hill, Pineville, Matthews, and Huntersville. We hope you wear credentials with pride and plan to preserve your knowledge and continued patient care.

The Charlotte Area Chapter hosts meetings to offer free AAMA CEUS to AAMA members and $5 for non-AAMA members. The dates vary depending on the month.  If you are interested, please email the Charlotte Area Chapter to receive the monthly newsletter so you can stay current on what is going on and when a CEU is offered.
